If in case you don't know it, Chiyo-ni was famous woman haiku master of 18 century's Japan. She come from Ishikawa Prefecture, same place as my okaasan (that mean "mother", cuz prolly you don't also know that...or do you??? Guess what, and you may surprise me!!) ;-)
Her most famous haiku is translation as follow:
morning glory--
the well-bucket entangled
I ask for water
Not too shabby, hey!
Howevers...(sound of clearing of throat)...my more favorite ones is this:
rouged lips
forgotten--
clear springwater
Ho!
She mention "water" very frequent--must be one thirsty girl!!!
Anyways, listen up!! I admires her, so I steals her name. If I could meet anyone from history, she would be one person.
Hey, wait a minute...I has a thought go all sparkle in my brain...maybe she will come to the Pink Otter Party!!
Don't worry, (winkwink)...you can has all the waters you wants!!!
