ReplyDeletethis writing reminds me of the phone call i had yesterday with my mother...she is slightly under the weather from all the hot and turned on air conditioning indoors. the layers of clothing seem to affect little the chill and bone hurting she feels in such extreme environments at her age.
ReplyDeleteones ability to acclimate and find balance is worn from the years of equilibrium. her chi is lowered and i wonder how she can reconnect to the eternal summer that albert camus refers to in his writing. don't know if he lived into old age but the metaphor is still beautiful.
